About the Area around Battye's Cottage
The Upper Holme Valley provides some of the finest walking country imaginable. The Pennine Way runs though our moor and visitors can experience watching the Tour of Britain Cycle Race when it passes though Holme in September each year and takes the grueling Holme Moss climb to task!
